Star Spotting: T. Mills Chills Before Bamboozle

T. Mills chills while planning his Bamboozle domination this weekend!

We already really want to be T.Mills (we’re very aware that we say that about everyone we talk about here), but seeing the MTV Push Artist chillin’ like NBD before joining other acts performing at Bamboozle in New Jersey this weekend pretty much seals the deal — bro is CON.FI.DENT! We want hang with T. so some of that tough guy ish rubs off on us. BRB, gonna draw some tattoos of his name on our face so we earn his affection.

The “Vans On” singer was snapped lounging like a boss in New Jersey likely counting down the seconds until he blows our minds during his Bamboozle performance this Sunday. Or maybe he’s envisioning who’d he’d “gently like to woo” while wearing his Vans this weekend? But it’s probably neither — we bet he’s thinking of all the new numbers he’s gonna get after he JUMPS OUT OF AN EFFING AIRPLANE and skydives into the festival — true story! Like we said, bro is BAD ASS.

Oh, and not to brag or anything, but T.’s hanging out with Buzzworthy all weekend. Not to be a tease, but more on that in the coming days…

Mark Ronson: Paul McCartney Saved Me From Drowning

Turns out Sir Paul McCartney is just as noble as his knighthood would suggest. The ex-Beatle saved producer-extraordinaire Mark Ronson from drowning in the Long Island Sound when Ronson was just a child.

Apparently Ronson, who was too young to remember and heard the story from his mother, wasn’t entirely convinced the tale was true. “That sounded like one of my mum’s crazy stories,” Ronson told Britains Live Magazine.

Go Behind-The-Scenes On The Set Of Coldplay And Rihanna's 'Princess Of China' Video

Check out behind-the-scenes footage of Coldplay and Rihanna’s ‘Princess Of China’ video.

We could say “Watch footage of Rihanna and Coldplay tying their shoes,” and we’d still have you in the palm of our hands. We don’t blame your (and our) obsessive excitement about this killer collabo, though, and judging by the recent behind-the-scenes footage from their forthcoming “Princess Of China” video, this ish is going to be effing epic!

Watch behind-the-scenes footage of Coldplay and Rihanna’s “Princess Of China” video after the jump.

Right off the bat we get a first-hand peek at what goes into making this masterpiece — lots of green screen. But then Rihanna offers a quick synopsis of what “Princess Of China” is really all about: “[It's] like a movie trailer for an old kung fu film.” Clips capture the crew, extras, and background dancers all hard at work, but soon we get a sneak peek of Ri and Coldplay’s Chris Martin strapped into flying harnesses for fancy samurai fighting choreography. We also see Chris preparing for a sword fighting scene! (Like we said, EPIC!)

While we’re excited for the full video, we’re mostly obsessed with Rihanna’s portrayal of a gorg, multi-armed goddess decked out with claw-like nails. (Remember when she tweeted that intimidating pic of herself in character?) #Halloween2012

Star Spotting: Being The Wanted Is Really Exhausting

The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness and Max George take a nap!

Since The Wanted arrived to the states, they’ve been aboard a non-stop train to Fameville. And while we’re sure they’re loving every single minute of the adventure, all that going and going gets tiring! We’re just wondering how they catch any sleep with the sounds of fans’ screams permanently ringing in their ears.

Jay McGuiness and Max George (he’s the one with the open mouth) of The Wanted were snapped catching a snooze and shared the pic on Facebook along with the caption, “Some days it’s just all too much…” We can only BEGIN to imagine their days — tours, concerts, promos, videos, milk chugging record-breaking, that really trying visit to the Playboy Mansion, etc. Being in a boy band has never sounded so amazing so exhausting.

If any of the Wanted bros wanna take a break and do a switch-a-roo with me, I’d be down. You can have fun putting medicine in my dog’s stinky ear while I travel the world to see your adoring fans. (Oh, and no takesies-backsies on the paycheck switch.)

The Jezabels, 'Rosebud' -- Video of the Day

Filed under:

Artist: The Jezabels
Video: “Rosebud”
Highlight: “When we finished writing and recording this song, we knew we’d created an ’80s-style song,” guitarist Sam Lockwood tells Spinner. “So when we decided that it would be a single, we knew we had to mirror that style visually. Accordingly, our director Ben Reed employed an ’80s-era technology — VHS — to give the video that ’80s sheen we all love so much. ‘Rosebud’ is a lush song, and Ben immediately understood that. Hence the psychedelia. It’s essentially an ’80s psychedelic experience, both visually and musically.”
