For the fun of the whole family a visit to the Science Museum Oklahoma is a must. Spread over eight acres, the museum imparts real-time experiences on science and technology. Exhibits include artifacts from the realms of aviation, space and culture. The museum really rocks what with the exhilaration of entertainment shows, IMAX film projections and spanking new exhibits. The museum makes us aware that science is not merely an academic pursuit but relevant and meaningful in our day to day lives.
One of the other major Oklahoma City attractions is the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, for all those Wild West aficionados. The museum reproduces the sounds and sights of the Wild West of long ago. It includes an art gallery portraying Western art and sculpture and also a mock town way back from the old Wild West.
One of the most popular Oklahoma City attractions is the Oklahoma History Center that depicts the history of the State of Oklahoma. It is symbolically located facing the Governor’s Mansion across the street. Exhibits inside, preserve the Oklahoman history, ranging from the prehistoric to the immediate present.
