re rewhats going on southside del city

“If you are a responsible person in society, why should it matter if you have to register your guns? Just like a car, you can chose to buy a car and not register it, but being responsible people most of us do that without a thought. Why is it such an issue to handle gun ownership similar to a car? Your serial number on the gun is registered to you, if you sell the weapon you fill out change of ownership papers. People say dont infringe on my rights, but what about simply being responsible?” In Oklahoma, there is no registration or licensing process to own a firearm. You must have a license to carry a firearm concealed, but that is not needed to own a firearm. The only thing done in Oklahoma is the Brady Act’s NICS check with a Form 4473, and this is only done when you buy your firearm at a store. A NICS check is not done at gunshows or for private transfers. (My qualifications for this information is that I am a former arms dealer.)
