Celebrating our Country’s Birthday?

celebrating our countrys birthday

It is called “Independence Day,” not “Happy Birthday America Day.” Disgraceful American? Because rather than spend Independence Day eating cheese burgers and being under the impression that I am celebrating a birthday, I would take the opportunity on such an important day, to exercise one of the few rights that we have left, to show the government my displeasure with the accumulated loss of our rights and freedoms? Enjoy your right to a cheeseburger and respect the rights of others to do what I believe that everyone should be doing on Independence Day -showing respect to independence and disdain for our government.
