a letter from your mechanic (all over )

there are just a few things that i need to get off my chest. #1. you brought your car to me on your own free will. i did not make you bring it to me. do not get pissed at me when i tell you how much it is going to cost. as much as the public hates to admit it there are MANY MANY honest mechanics out there. i didnt make you buy that land rover! so dont be a dick when it cost you out the ass to upkeep that hunk of shit you call a luxrey suv. #2. yes i do charge a fee to find out what is wrong with your car. i have to pay my techs to look at it so why shouldnt you have to pay me for it? what happens is if i tell you what is wrong with it for free more times than not you will have your brother/friend/the guy you bought your dumbass dog from fix it. everyone has a good buddy that is a mechanic! if you do why the fuck did you bring your car to me? my techs have to pay for their own tools and diag equipment some scan tools cost in upwards of 11k so yes they do need to make money, other wise take it to autozone have them do it for free. I AM NOT RUNNING A CHAIRTY!!!! get it thought your fuking head!!!! #3 i dont have the magic computer that i can plug into your car and it tell me what is wrong. even the best scan tools only SOMETIMES im going to say it again SOMETIMES point me in the right direction. #4 it is not my problem that your car is broke i did not brake it!!!!! i am in no way responsible for how you are going to get to work. i dont give a fuck that you cant leave it. your options are you can leave it and i will fix it or you can get the fuck out of my shop, no i wont work on it right now! do you see my parking lot full? yes then NO you are noone to me just another shitty ass car that has to wait in line to get fixed just like everyone else! we are adults here you should know that you cant just walk into walmart and skip everyone in line to check out! and you know what i do have the power to look at yours last and if your are a real fuking douchbag i might just forget to look at it today. #5 dont fucking name drop to me about this old manager or that owner. yes i know all these people, no you cannot have a discount casue you know their names good for u! if you want a discount and you know them so well why dont you go to the shop that they are at? what you didnt know they didnt work at this shop! wow suprise cause they havent worked at this shop for 3 years you must be a really good friend and a really good customer. #6 i know my job i know cars i know how they work. My guess is that you brought me your car casue you dont know what is wrong with it and you dont know how it works. and that is fine i dont expect you to know really anything about cars but when i tell you what is wrong with it and why it happend dont fuking agrue with me about it, what the fuck do you do again? ohhhh thats right you dont work on cars? really cuase i FUCKING DO!!!!! i deal with shitty cars just like yours everyday! again i do this EVERY FUKING DAY! i see the problem with your car 10 times a fucking week with cars just like yours!! so what do i know… #7 i dont care that this other shop would do it for x ammount of dollars. thats fucking great why didnt you take it there? if you have a problem with how much it cost im going to tell you what to do…. here it is are you ready for it? FIX IT YOUR FUCKING SELF!!!!! there are these places call auto parts stores and most of them you can walk into and buy a “repair guide” for your car and it will tell you step by step how to change your fuel pump on your tahoe. what you are paying me for is for our knowlege and know how. #8 yes i did charge you 2.5 hours to change your fuel pump. yes it did only take him 45mins. to do. no you cant have a discount. any good tech can do a job for well under what it pays how the fuck do you think they make money? #9 the only thing i really know is my shit isnt broke and you know what!?!?!?! if it was i would fix it. soooo to all of you goddamn fucking hill billies shops dont do work for free SO STOP FUKING ASKING!@!!!! and if your car is broke dont bitch at your mechanic he is the one that determins how long it takes to look at it how much it is going to cost and the one that will determine if it gets fixed right. you wouldnt tear your doctor a new asshole right before he puts you under for surgey would you? so be nice to your mechanic bring him a 12pack everyonce in a while get in good with him and he will treat you right. we are just normal people trying to make a living and its hard to do with fucks like you people.
