Good to hear that there are police people out there who are genuinely interested in the betterment of society… I’m still terrified of all of you guys. Between my first experience with cops (my parents had ‘em pick me up for going for a walk without permission…the ride home entailed listening to a rant about how it was cool that my parents pushed me down the stairs for refusing to go to church and how he’d beat the shit out of me if I was his daughter. I’m not a bad kid–if you know me, you know that.) and subsequent experiences involving police who never SHOWED UP when they were called and cops who planted drugs on my boyfriend’s half-black cousins, I don’t have a whole lot of trust for you guys. My hands start shaking anytime I see a guy in a police uniform.
