Levon Helm, voice of The Band, to perform in Tulsa

The voice of The Band, Levon Helm, performs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on the main stage of Cain’s Ballroom, 423 N Main in Tulsa, performing songs from his upcoming solo album, “Electric Dirt,” and its predecessor, 2007’s “Dirt Farmer,” his first solo LP in a quarter century, following a near-miraculous recovery from throat cancer.
