Coach: OU transfer Kyle Cannon to play for USC Aiken

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) — A former Oklahoma basketball player is transferring to a South Carolina school. USC Aiken coach Vince Alexander announced Tuesday that former Oklahoma forward Kyle Cannon is coming to play for the Pacers. He has two years of college eligibility remaining. Cannon played in just nine games for the Sooners last season, averaging less than two points a game in fewer than seven minutes per game. Cannon, a 6-foot-8 forward from Baltimore, joins Byron Faison, a Winthrop transfer, who will play for USC Aiken next fall. Alexander also said Re’mon Nelson had signed with the Pacers after playing last season at Canal Winchester High. Before playing at Oklahoma, Cannon spent two seasons at San Jacinto
